Normanton church is becoming a very popular place to have your wedding ceremony, and for good reason, the views and building itself are beautiful.
Overlooking the shores of Rutland water you can’t beat this setting anywhere in the county. Your guest will love the walk to the church, taking in the sights and sounds as they make their way to the ceremony room.
Photography at Normanton church is a pleasure when the weather is on your side. A calm blue-sky day is perfect for wedding photography. You have many options to work with and the backdrop is just breath taking. Although if the weather isn’t on your side, things can get a little antibiotics online more complicated for instance rain and strong winds cause a slight problem due o the lack of cover and being in such an exposed place there is now where to hide. But this is a minor risk for such a beautiful place.
If your reception is also near by, the potential for sunset pictures is perfect; the setting sun over the water is a wonderful way to top off your wedding day.
Here are some examples of my wedding photography from Normaton Church in Rutland.
I met Gemma at her home in Manton, herself and her bridesmaids were all busy putting the final touches to their make-up and hair. There was a real buzz of excitement in the air, especially from the two flower girls, who looked extremely cute. I took the time to capture quite a few pictures of them both before the day took its toil on their dresses and fresh faces.
Gemma looked stunning in her dress, it suited her figure perfectly. It was soon time to drive to Irnham church for the ceremony. Irnham Hall is a relatively new wedding venue, but it has burst onto the scene with great reviews. A suburb-wedding venue, wonderful for photography, the options are just endless. It also has a church on the grounds, so for those who would also like a church wedding this venue is ideal.
Simon was with his groomsmen when I arrived, they were all in good spirit and quite a lively bunch. I could tell we were going to have some fun later.
The church service was heart felt, order antibiotics for chlamydia also with a touch a humour from the vicar which is always nice to see. They allow you to take wedding photographs during the service, which is always a bonus.
Confetti rained down as we all made our way to the reception. Shots and champagne on arrival set the tone for the day. It seemed I always had something to photograph, my camera never stopped clicking, which is just how I like it.
Singing waiters, choreographed dances , fun group photographs and intimate moments.
A great wedding day at Irnham Hall, all the best to Gemma & Simon in the future.
I met Laura at Chippenham Park, she was slightly anxious whilst the hair and makeup was being perfected, but once she was in her dress she could relax, and so she did. I went about my business trying to photograph every aspect of their wedding day. I try to blend many photographic styles together when photographing weddings, this allows me to capture a broad range of photos for the bride and groom to enjoy.
Michael and the Grooms men arrived an hour or so before the wedding ceremony. At Chippenham park you can have the ceremony outside, which is lovely. On this particular day drizzle was in the air, so it was touch and go. After photographing Michael and many of his family members, the decision was made to go ahead and have the ceremony outside, much to the relief of everyone, as this is what they both had hoped for.
The ceremony was tearful and heartfelt, a perfect setting for a wedding.
Confetti was thrown as they made their way down to the patio for their drinks reception. I managed to get all the group and family pictures taken before the meal and there was still plenty of time for drinks and laughter.
The laughter continued into the speeches, which were brilliant.
Once the food had been digested the bride, groom and I went for a wonder around the Chippenham Park grounds. The light was perfect, I feel I captured some lovely intimate moments between them both.
The music played long into the night, a great crowd and a wonderful wedding
