Manor mews Wedding Photography – Jade & Jamie

It was only 8am when I hit the Norfolk border and even at this early hour I could feel the warmth of the sun beating down. It was a beautiful summers mornings and I couldn’t wait to begin photographing Jade and Jamie’s wedding at Manor Mews. I had a good look around the area beforehand and found some lovely potential sites for the evening photography that I hoped to do.

On arrival Jade and her four bridesmaids where all getting pampered, even half way through hair and make up Jade looked amazing; she was going to make a stunning bride. Jamie was also on site as Manor mews has plenty of accommodation. Jamie and the groomsmen were supposed to be getting ready but I found them with their feet up and a beer in hand, so I left them to it and said I’d come back a bit later.

I started photographing all the fine details around the venue, they hadn’t missed a trick, and everywhere I looked there was a touch of something personal, so much effort must have gone into their preparations, Manor Mews looked wonderful.

Just before Jade started to slip into her dress I went back to check on the boys and this time their suits were on. I took the groomsmen off for some pictures, which went down well.

As expected Jade looked beautiful in her dress, after some emotional moments with her Father and Grandad it was time to make our way to church.

The guests were just finishing their pre-ceremony drinks in the courtyard, then they all embarked upon the short walk to church. Jade arrived along the bumpy track in style in her family’s 4×4.

The conditions where great; quaint little church, blue sky, open Norfolk fields and a light wisp of wind. The emotions took hold as she progressed to church and I could see them building up inside her. I was allowed at the front of the church behind the vicar, which meant I captured all the wonderful interactions and facial expressions between them both. It was such a heart-warming and moving service.

After the service they had set up a mini bar on the church grounds for a quick refreshment before we headed to the barn. I enjoyed photographing the wedding party walking back down to the barn from the church, lots of smiles and excitement. Having all the venues in such buy antibiotics legally online close proximity is a real advantage and it maximises capture time for the bride and groom.

This wedding had such a feel good vibe about it, there was never a dull moment. Jade and Jamie had ensured everyone was kept entertained throughout. I don’t think I’d put my camera down since I arrived, but that’s the way I like it. After the group photos and a brief spell of alone time back in the open fields it was time to head in for the wedding breakfast and speeches.

All the speeches were great but the best-man went the extra mile and created a video presentation of some close family members and friends who couldn’t make the wedding day, it was a lovely touch.

It was now time to put my earlier plans in action. We drove off to an area with newly harvested fields with hay bales. The light was gorgeous and we spent around 20 minutes capturing some beautiful relaxed images of them both.

I really enjoy getting these beautiful shots, buts it’s also really nice to allow the couple to take some time together away from the wedding together.

We headed back to Manor mews for the first dance and plenty more fun and games. I also organized sparklers around the fire pit which went down well and just as I was about to leave I spotted a swollen yellow moon rising up, I rushed to grab them both for one last picture, a low full moon is a rare treat.

This was one of those weddings where I could have stayed all night, if it wasn’t for a wedding the next day I’m sure I might have.
