Normanton Church wedding photography – Sacha & Mark

It was nice early start on a perfect summers morning. I’d been looking forward to photographing Sacha and Marks wedding at Normanton buy std antibiotics church for some time. They’re a lovely couple to work with as I found out from their engagement shoot earlier in the year.

Sacha had a house full over at her mums and there was a real air of excitement, everyone had a spring in their step.

All the final touches had been applied and Sacha looked stunning, her dress suited her perfectly. After a few photos in the garden it was time to make our way to Normanton Church. Although we had a slight problem, one of the wedding cars had broken down, so a quick fix was to squeeze 3 bridesmaids into my car amidst the car gear, it made for an amusing journey…..

Traditionally late, the bride arrived at a blustery but gorgeous Normanton church. With her veil swaying in the wind and a beaming smile on her face she made her way to the church entrance.

Once the all clear had been given the groom and guest could make their way from the car park to the church. Mark, in eager anticipation seemed slightly nervous, as expected, and once inside his facial expression emphasised just that. Sacha made her grand entrance; it was lovely to see such emotion between them as they exchanged vowels.

After the service the bridal party stayed back whilst the rest of the guest headed to the Haycock Hotel. We spent 20 minutes at Normanton church capturing some iconic photography in this perfect Rutland setting.

Back at the Haycock everyone enjoyed the beautifully kept gardens and a welcome drink or two, whilst the summer sun beamed down and some lovely music in the background played. I managed to capture all the family images required in good time so this meant the bride and groom had some quality time to themselves.

The wedding breakfast and speeches went down extremely well and it seemed everyone was enjoying the atmosphere. Just before the first dance we took a short drive to some newly harvest fields. The sun was low in the sky and the fields where a golden colour in the evening light, a perfectly romantic way to see the last moments of daylight in.

It was then back to the Haycock to spend the rest of the night dancing and socialising to the early hours.

Fantastic wedding day
