Firstly I have to appreciate how totally great Anna & Ben are. After having what’s fair to say, a slightly nervous engagement shoot, they absolutely smashed their wedding photos out of the park. I just loved how in sync they were, their photos look so natural and effortless.
What a beautiful venue
Secondly WHAT A VENUE! Just wow, Holywell Hall is something else. I could get lost for hours exploring the grounds, a beautiful setting for a wedding.
Behind the camera this felt like an emotional roller coaster from start to finish. So goodness knows what it felt like to them both. The giddy excitement in the morning, to the butterflies in church, the elation of marriage, the explosion of confetti, the time to unwind and explore the grounds, the heartfelt speeches, charging around the venue on a golf buggy chasing the light and then the after party.
I thoroughly enjoyed being Anna & Ben’s wedding photographer. This was just one of those weddings where everything came together and just ran so smoothly; I suppose you can put that down to perfect planning and everything really did just go to plan.
The atmosphere that day was just one of pure elation and laughter; there was such a joyous vibe throughout the whole day

Where do I start with Rosie & Sam’s stunning countryside wedding at The Granary Estate?
This couple are beautiful inside and out. It was evident they had so much love surrounding them from friends and family; which really makes my job easy. Everywhere I turned there was laughter and beaming smiles to capture; the atmosphere that day was just infectious.
A stunning wedding ceremony
The ceremony had everything: intimacy, humour and love.
I had a cracking time with the bridal party who where up for a good old laugh. I must admit that the more alcohol they consumed, the more adventurous they became, making for some brilliant photographs.
Rosie maintained her sweet, elegant persona throughout the day. She looked flawless and that surprise dress change… he didn’t see that coming!
Love always wins
I remember so many sweet moments throughout the day and all the special intricate touches that made this wedding so unique.
So over lockdown I had a long list of jobs I wanted to get stuck into. I had every intention of working my way through them all and being super up-to-date with my admin. Turns out it’s now September and I’ve not made much headway, as looking after a toddler is pretty time consuming!
Blogging was top of the list, something I hardly ever find time to do due the editing backlog. I’m going to try to and start as I mean to go on; try….
What a wedding
I’d thought I’d start with one of my favourite venues Irnham Hall and one of the loveliest couples I’ve had the pleasure of working with; Jade & Rob.
We clicked instantly at their engagement shoot, which was so much fun. They told me all about their plans for the wedding day and with the amount of meticulous planning going into it, I just knew it was going to be a cracker.
Love & friendship
Straight from the get go the vibe was perfect. Smiles and banter in the morning with the bridal party, beautiful light and surroundings to play with in and around the Irnhall Hall bridal suite. A church service like no other, you could just feel the love and friendship of the families coming together. A venue beautifully dressed with a unique feel.
It was clear to see Jade and Rob have a special bond and this shone through in their images. Everything was effortless; the romance, the fun, just an all round superb wedding.
It’s always a highlight of mine but seeing the look of excitement on their faces as they raced through the fields at dusk is what I do this job for… In that moment they were totally carefree and just being a couple in love.
