Sally’s father owned a farm only a stones throw away from South Farm in Royston so the whole family were well acquainted with the owners, a lovely personal touch on the day. I must admit I haven’t seen a bride put such attention to detail into their wedding day, every nook and cranny was decorated with some sort of rustic accessory, everywhere I turned there was something new to gaze upon and admire before I composed a picture. Although saying that I also haven’t seen a bride whiz around so fast and frantically on the morning of the wedding, trying to make sure everything was set in place just how she had in her mind. After 3 hours of morning madness everything looked wonderful and the bride could turn her attention to making herself look wonderful.
South Farm has a lovely bridal suit for the bride and bridesmaids to get ready, plenty of space and window light to capture some great pre-wedding photographs. You have the option of an outside ceremony or an inside one. Of course if the weather permits the outside choice must be popular, but in early April the safest option is inside. The ceremony was moving, the tears of happiness flowed and the loving vows were said.
Straight after the wedding ceremony you have a large order antibiotics online for chlamydia group photo in the courtyard. The grounds of South Farm allow you to make use of the greenery for group photographs. The general vibe of this location is great, I managed to photograph many of the guest just enjoying themselves.
South Farm always strikes me as a lovely, unique venue, which pays extra attention to detail to make the bride, groom and guests happy. I always admire the variety of flowers and plants that are tended to daily. Each corner of the venue is great for wedding photographs. For a wedding photographer its a great wedding venue to get your artistic juices flowing.
Congratulations to Sally and Stuart, all the best for the future.
I met the bride to be at the Haycock in Wansford Peterborough. She was finishing off her hair and make up as I arrived. Each seat was occupied by a bridesmaid also getting the same pre-wedding treatment. I tend to arrive between 2-4 hours before the wedding ceremony, this allows me enough time to capture all the morning prep – laughter, tears and commotion.
The Haycock in Wansford’s bridal suits are lovely, great window light and plenty of space for everyone to get ready. Once everyone was dressed a quick glass of champagne then off to one of the most prettiest churches in Peterborough – Marholm church.
Alex and his groomsmen where there long before me, all sticking to their duties. If theres time i like to photograph the groom and he’s groomsmen before they enter church. Alex was quite a comical guy, very laid backed and always had a smile on his face.
Vicky the bride arrived in good time, which always pleases the vicar. She too looked extremely buy rabbit antibiotics calm and couldn’t wait for the service to begin. I was allowed to take pictures from the back of the church so i managed to capture every little detail during the service. Which was quite a lively service – dancing, singing, tears and joy.
Arriving back at the haycock, i was my usual busy self, trying to capture as much candid images as possible, whilst arranging group photos and more.
The whole day ran smoothly, apart from the point where the groom thought he’d lost his wedding ring on our stroll around the grounds of the haycock, but sure enough it turned up – next to the sink in the toilettes…
What a fantastic wedding day at Greetham Valley. I visited Beccy early morning to capture some pre wedding getting ready pictures, she was amazingly calm and relaxed. Greetham valleys rooms are great for window light so i took advantage of this for the prep photography. The morning raced by and it was soon time for the wedding ceremony. The registrar’s allow you to take pictures throughout the ceremony which is always lovely, this way i can capture every intimate moment. Some deep and meaningful words were exchanged and before long they were married. The fun continued throughout the day and i was always kept busy with my camera, photographing the bride and groom, group pictures, the little ones charging about and also a spot of golf….
After a lovely meal and fantastic speeches we were lucky to get outside; the dying sun looked stunning over the rolling hills of rutland.
The nights entertainment begun, and Jamie’s dad’s dance floor antics proved to be very popular,
Lovely wedding couple, all the best for the future.
